Ciao Friend,

Ever wonder if life's just a series of challenges interspersed with the occasional lesson in humor? It's like we have an orchestra of thoughts playing in our heads. But guess what? Some of those instruments are out of tune, and others...well, they're not exactly on our side.

When I stands in front of the mirror, who does I really see? Not a solitary figure, but an assembly of diverse selves. Some of these inner voices are the champions of my journey, while others, far from benevolent, resemble the antagonists in their tales. It's like our own version of Avengers, with more than half as the villains. And yet, we weren’t the creators of these minds, our society, or even our consciousness. So, my task remains: what can be done next? How can I navigate these waters with intelligence and grace?

Philosopher Sam Harris suggested that wisdom is onboarding our minds as allies. Can any of us call ourselves truly wise if our mental processes feel like a chaotic congress? Perhaps you consider yourself smart, or wise even, but are you truly happy?

CONSTANT CLARITY

  • Success and Perception:
“The more competent someone appears, the less warm they're perceived.” — Rob Henderson
  • Internal vs. External Suffering:
“Just because someone carries their burdens well doesn’t mean they aren’t heavy.”
  • Entrepreneurial Rollercoaster:
Entrepreneurship prompts a mix of euphoria and fear, magnified by lack of sleep. — Marc Andreessen

LIFE HACK

Do 5-minute bodyweight exercises between meetings - think push-ups, squats, or planks.

Window seats on flights have two big perks: control over the window blinds (sometimes blinds if you strike gold) and fewer disturbances from passengers. While you might sacrifice some arm space, the peace and sleep advantages are a fair trade-off.

Have an amazing day,
Murphy
